I have really been in the crafting mood lately with decorating my new apartment and ran across this great DIY flag table runner project while looking for cute table decorations. Bliss, Bloom, Blog provides a great tutorial on how she painted hers bamboo table runner but you could also make yours with a piece of canvas or a cloth table runner.
This popped up earlier this summer and I love how easy it is! You can make your own stencil from a large piece of cardboard and then take flour or washable spray paint and decorate your lawn. I saw everything from lawn games painted on grass to monograms as well as these patriotic stars along the walkway. You can use this trick for any party where you want a creatively decorated walkway.
