The end of the year is almost here and the holidays will creep up on your fast that you can imagine. From holiday parties to counting down to midnight on New Years Eve there are tons of reasons to celebrate in December. Last year I shared with you ten of my favorite holiday events, but the list doesn't have to end there! There are tons of fun and silly holidays that you can celebrate as well. Here are ten of my favorite reasons (besides Christmas and New Years) to party in December...
1. December 4th: Santas’ List Day. He is making his list and checking it twice today!

2. December 5th: Bathtub Party Day. The perfect time to relax before the holiday craziness takes over.

3. December 9th: Christmas Card Day. It is not too late to still send your holiday cards! Invite a group of friends to bring their cards over and you can have a fun Christmas Card party.
4. December 16th: Chocolate Covered Anything Day. Anything holiday that deals with chocolate is a great one to celebrate in my book.

5. December 18th: Bake Cookies Day. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan, Kwanzaa or all of them today is the perfect day to bake your holiday cookies. Anyone up for a cookie swap party after?

6. December 20th: Go Caroling Day. This is a great day to spread some holiday cheer. So grab a group of friends and head to a local nursing home or retirement center for a fun caroling outing.
7. December 21st: Ugly Sweater Day. What better day than today to pull out those “festive” holiday sweaters and wear them while spreading holiday cheer?

8. December 24th: National Egg Nog Day. While you are getting those last minute Christmas details checked off your list take some time out to celebrate with a delicious cup of egg nog (or two!).

9. December 27th: National Fruitcake Day. If almost no one likes fruitcake how come it is the most common Christmas present? Guess today is the perfect time to find out! Here is a fruitcake recipe from Martha Stewart that you can try. (And why does it take so long to make?!?)
10. December 31st: National Champagne Day. I will toast to that while ringing in the new year. Cheers!

What is your favorite favorite reason to party this month?

xoxo
Megan
