When I was younger I received a booked called Play With Your Food. Now this is not a book that tells your how to finger paint with your spaghetti sauce or create the next Picasso by throwing food at a blank canvas. This book had artists take fruits and vegetables and turn them into people, animals and other objects. I was beyond captivated by this book and to this day love taking food and creating different displays with them, especially during the holidays. So when I found this idea that will turn your standard holiday rolls into Easter Bunnies I couldn't wait to try it out!

To make these bunny rolls I used pre-made bread dough, but you can also make your own from scratch. Roll dough into individual balls (not too big) and set on a baking sheet approximately 1.5-2 inches apart. With a pair of sharp scissors, clip the dough on the top of one side to create the ears. Push the dough upwards to give the ears a little more structure.
To finish use a long skewer to create the eyes. If you want you could also use a small nut or raisin to make a nose. Then bake and you have your Easter Bunny Rolls!

Here are some other Easter rolls that you can try this year.
Cinnamon Roll Bunnies
Maple Wheat Bunny Rolls
Swirl Easter Bunny Rolls
Sweet Challah Easter Birds

What do you think about these Easter Bunny Rolls? Let me know which ones you try making in the comments below!
