Weekend Recap: Wine Tasting

Last week I had so much fun going wine tasting with one of my BFF’s Emily.  Since moving to Charlottesville I have been meaning to go up to visit Emily at their new house, and what a better time than during the holidays when everything is decorated! We also decided to have a fun girl’s afternoon filled with some wine tasting. We wandered off to Barboursville Vineyard, Horton Vineyards and then took a little pit stop at Castle Hill Cider before heading home.

All three places had amazing wines and ciders to taste and we had so much fun that afternoon! They had adorable Christmas wine gifts in their gift shop that were very difficult to pass up! You can check out some pictures from our afternoon below.

My parents and siblings along came up for a fun birthday dinner last week and then on my actually birthday I received these amazing flowers. My dad is such a sucker for sending flowers! Aren’t they so pretty? 

This week I am finishing up sending out my Christmas cards, wrapping presents and getting ready for my office’s holiday party on Thursday. There is just so much left to do before Christmas gets here next week! Are you ready for the holidays? Just 8 days left until Christmas!
